About Hapun Pottery
"I create tableware and flower vases in Osaka.
I particularly enjoy the rough texture of clay. To add visual interest, l use coloured clay and carefully incorporate patterns without making them overly sweet. I would be very happy if my artworks help to bring joy and beauty to your dining tables."

Artist introduction
"After a break of 20 years, I returned to pottery during the 2019 pandemic. In the meantime, I worked in the culinary and confectionery field because I simply enjoy creating things.

After restarting my pottery journey, most events and craft fairs were canceled due to the pandemic. However, in around 2021, I finally had opportunities to showcase my work and started receiving a lot of offers.

Despite the long break, working with clay again feels so comforting to me. It was a great surprise. I usually devote myself to pottery too much, so I am trying to make time for activities like hiking, jogging, and enjoying the beach and mountains during the summer."

"Hapun Pottery," based in Osaka, is known for its hand-drawn illustrations and gentle color combinations. The pottery features charming illustrations that bring joy and a heartwarming atmosphere to the dining table. Each piece is unique, with its own personality, and they are beloved for their ability to gently envelop the dining experience.
