葛西国太郎 - Kunitaro Kasai

After graduating from Kanazawa College of Art and Crafts, Department of Design, I worked
as a potter at Kutani Seiyō Kiln in Ishikawa Prefecture. I started own workshop in Kyoto in 2016.

About the artworks:
The image of a happy dining table seen in cookbooks found at home and on TV I saw when
I was a child is one of my inspirations for my creation of artwork. “DAISY” is a series that depicts small flowers by piling up white clay. I hope you enjoy the three-dimensional flower patterns and gentle color combinations.

金沢美術工芸大学デザイン科卒業後、石川県の九谷青窯にて作陶。
2016年より京都にて独立。
作品について
子供の頃家にあった料理の本やテレビで見た、しあわせな食卓のイメージが
インスピレーションの一つになっています。
DAISYは白い土を盛り上げて小さな花を描いたシリーズです。
立体的な花模様とやさしい色合いをお楽しみいただければ幸いです。
